The quarterback class in the upcoming 2025 NFL Draft isn’t seen as anything spectacular, as after Cam Ward presumably goes No. 1 to the Tennessee Titans, it’s unclear when the next quarterback will come off the board.
Names like Shedeur Sanders, Jaxson Dart, and Jalen Milroe are all in the mix to go in the first round as well, with Sanders potentially in the top five, but Ohio State National Champion Will Howard has a message for all the teams that might pass on him.
In a recent clip of one of his pre-draft interviews, Howard was asked why a team should draft him, and he said that his goal is to prove every team wrong that passes on him on draft day.
“I feel like my whole career, I’ve been overlooked. Every single team that picks a quarterback in front of me, I’m going to make it my mission to make sure that they regret not picking me.”

Howard burst onto the scene for the Buckeyes last year after transferring from Kansas State and set career highs with a 73.1 percent completion percentage, 4,010 passing yards, and 35 touchdowns to just ten interceptions, with another seven rushing touchdowns.
Howard is seen as a notch below the aforementioned potential first-round quarterbacks and could be a Day Three pick for a team searching for a high-upside option.
He isn’t the only quarterback to say that every team that passes on him will regret it, but Howard seems like someone worth betting on after the year he just had at Ohio State.
Few expected the Buckeyes to go on a run through the College Football Playoff and win it all, but Howard’s leadership was on full display and certainly made him a more appealing option at the next level.
