Mariners outfielder Víctor Robles has received a 10-game suspension from major league baseball, reports Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times. Robles, currently on the injured list, recently threw his bat at a pitcher after being hit by a pitch during a rehab game. Divish notes that Robles would have to serve the suspension at the major league level, meaning he will serve the suspension once he’s reinstated from the injured list. The M’s have had to play a man down during that time, per Divish. Robles plans to appeal the decision.
More to come.
