US House of Reps has passed the spending bill to avert government shut down. On to Senate.

This is the stop gap funding bill that would keep the US government open through until September.

The lower house of Congress has passed it, now it goes to the Senate for a vote.

In the Senate, the bill will need the support of at least seven Democrats to overcome the 60-vote filibuster threshold.

Without the founding the government will shut down on March 14.
