Tyreek Hill Determined To Keep Dolphins Defender Amid Trade Rumors

The Miami Dolphins are still trying to figure out what to do with Jalen Ramsey.

They’ve been trying to trade him for quite a while now, but to no avail.

His camp has also actively pursued a trade, meaning that he’s likely looking forward to leaving.

Nevertheless, Tyreek Hill doesn’t want to hear anything about that.

If anything, he’s trying to get him to stay.

As reported by JPAFootball on X, the Dolphins’ star wide receiver is eager to convince Ramsey not to leave South Florida:

“I’m getting Ramsey back in a Dolphins jersey, I don’t care what they say. He’s a dog. He’s one of the best corners in the league, man. Great leader. Great teammate, too, though. That’s what he doesn’t get a lot of credit for, man,” Hill said.

Ironically, Hill also pushed for a trade after the season ended.

He claimed that he was ‘out’ and hinted at his desire to leave the organization after a disappointing campaign.

Now, he’s changed his mind, and he admitted that he regretted putting the team through that.

Hill, like Ramsey, isn’t getting any younger, but he’s still one of the best players in the league at his respective position.

Granted, Ramsey is making more money than the Dolphins would want to pay for a player his age, but it’s not like they haven’t gotten their money’s worth when he’s been on the field.

Multiple teams would gladly take Ramsey if the Dolphins were to absorb a portion of his salary, but there aren’t many incentives to do so, especially after the NFL Draft.

The Dolphins are under a lot of pressure to finally make the playoffs, and they might be better off holding onto their veteran corner instead of looking to move him to save some money.
