The Buffalo Bills were viewed as one of the best teams in football coming into the 2025 NFL season, and they’ve certainly showcased why that was the case through their first two games.
They won a close matchup with the Baltimore Ravens in Week 1 and throttled the New York Jets in Week 2, scoring 30+ points for the second-straight week.
Josh Allen continues to prove that he’s only getting better, and while fans and analysts have sung his praises for several seasons, he has also gotten recognition from his peers.
This includes a nice sentiment from Tua Tagovailoa, who spoke highly of Allen ahead of their Thursday Night matchup in Week 3.
“He’s top-tier. If it’s not with his arm, it’s with his legs. That dude can do literally anything he wants. Definitely different skill set for me. I can’t do half of what he does,” Tagovailoa said, per Ari Meirov on X.

Tagovailoa and the Dolphins will try to do everything possible to slow Allen and the Bills down, but they recognize that this is going to be a tall task.
Allen has looked like the reigning MVP to this point in the season, and while it’s early, there’s a real chance that he could repeat as the winner of this award if this dominance continues.
The Bills are nearly a two-touchdown favorite in this game, and with the New Orleans Saints and New England Patriots as their next two opponents after the Dolphins, there’s a very real possibility that they could start the season 5-0.
With the Kansas City Chiefs struggling to start the season, are the Bills now the team to beat in the AFC?
