Trump says he is looking at reducing Canadian steel and aluminum tariffs.
He announced he was doubling tomorrow’s planned 25% tariffs to 50% earlier today. He was asked about lowering them and said ‘probably so’ and that he will probably make a different tariff decision.
USD/CAD is under further pressure and trading at a session low of 1.4388.
