A Trump-Putin summit is tentatively scheduled for the end of next week.
In a sign of solidarity and compromise, Ukraine’s president Zelenskiy is saying:
- We all should support US constructive effort to reach a cease-fire in Ukraine
Hopefully, there is as much compromise in the forthcoming negotiations to end the war from both sides.
US stocks are extending higher. The Nasdaq is up near 200 points or 0.92% (it is up 195 points now).
