The Tigers are bringing up infielder Zack Short for tonight’s matchup against the Rangers, the club announced. Fellow infielder Jace Jung was optioned to Triple-A. Right-hander Grant Holman was designated for assignment to clear a spot on the 40-man for Short. Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press was among those to relay the moves.
