The Houston Texans have lost another player.
This time, it was on the offensive side of the ball.
“Texans are placing TE Brevin Jordan on season-ending injured reserve due to the knee injury he suffered during Monday’s practice, as Jonathan M Alexander also reported,” ESPN insider Adam Schefter wrote on X.

Jordan had to be carted off the field after the injury, which took place during 11-on-11 drills.
Quarterback C.J. Stroud targeted him, and he failed to secure the pass. Then, when he landed, he fell to the ground and grabbed his right leg in pain.
He got up, but trainers rushed the field to assist him, even though he waved them off and told them he was fine.
He then realized that wasn’t the case, and he fought back tears as he left the field.
Teammates and coaches rallied around him and showed some support during this emotional time.
This is a brutal blow for the fifth-round selection from the 2021 NFL Draft, who tore his ACL in Week 2 last season.
Despite that injury, the Texans signed him to a one-year, $2.1 million contract extension.
In his career, Jordan has 53 receptions for 532 receiving yards and five touchdowns.
He was competing for targets with veteran Dalton Schultz and was projected to be a crucial part of the passing game this season.
The Texans now have to turn to Cade Stover, Dalton Keene and Luke Lachey at the position.
