The Dallas Cowboys will be looking to bounce back in the 2025 NFL season after injuries to key players like Dak Prescott ruined their 2024 campaign.
The Cowboys roster has enough talent on the offensive side of the field to be competitive, and thus far, it looks like the team will have Prescott and company back at full health.
Dallas’ offense will naturally see a lift with Prescott back under center, plus the new addition of George Pickens, who gives the team another downfield vertical threat.
Up front, the Cowboys’ offensive line should remain stout, though there’s always room for more depth.
With that in mind, Todd Archer of ESPN believes Dallas should strongly consider keeping right tackle Ajani Cornelius around as a developmental piece.

The Cowboys selected Cornelius in the sixth round of the 2025 NFL Draft after he had a strong collegiate career split between Rhode Island and Oregon.
Terence Steele is slated to start at right tackle for 2025 with Hakeem Adeniji as his listed backup on the depth chart, so Cornelius faces an uphill battle to win a roster spot.
Usually, teams keep young offensive linemen to grow and develop behind the scenes, and Cornelius seems like a prospect worth keeping around to see if he can turn into anything.
The hit rate on late-round offensive linemen isn’t great, but Cornelius at least looks the part of an NFL tackle.
