The Pittsburgh Steelers want to add more horsepower to their offense.
They lost their top running back when Najee Harris signed with the Los Angeles Chargers, and their new one-two punch of Jaylen Warren and Kenneth Gainwell might not be that impressive.
With that in mind, Pittsburgh brought in two of the top running back prospects in the 2025 NFL Draft.
“The Steelers are hosting two running backs for Top 30 visits today: Ohio State’s TreVeyon Henderson and UCF’s RJ Harvey,” Mike DeFabo of The Athletic wrote on X.

Henderson was instrumental in Ohio State’s national championship, combining with Quinshon Judkins in the backfield.
Henderson was the lead back for most of the season before Judkins received a bigger workload but still finished the season with 144 carries for 1,016 yards (7.1 yards per carry).
In his college career, Henderson rushed for 3,761 yards and 42 touchdowns to go along with 853 receiving yards and six TDs.
He ran 4.43 seconds in the 40-yard dash at the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine and is considered to be the third running back potentially drafted in the first round, after Ashton Jeanty and Omarion Hampton.
Harvey isn’t as highly touted as Henderson but has some appealing traits and is seen as a three-down back.
The Steelers are also tied to quarterback Jaxson Dart as a potential pick in the first round, and that could gain more traction if Aaron Rodgers doesn’t sign with them before the draft.
Harvey could be a suitable option in the third or fourth round.
