Sean McVay Reveals Injury Update On His Foot

One of the Los Angeles Rams‘ most crucial pieces was injured in their Week 2 game.

It wasn’t a player, though.

Head coach Sean McVay revealed what happened to him during their win against the Tennessee Titans.

“Foot’s good,” McVay said. “I did tear my plantar fascia, so, yeah. Well, that’s a good thing, because I guess it allows you to heal a little faster. But I was being dramatic, limping around towards the end of the game, but the MRI confirmed I did that. Good news is, I’m not playing. I’m just on the sidelines watching, so if I have a little cool limp to add some swag, then you’ll know why.”

He didn’t say if he has to wear a walking boot, but the injury will not keep him off the sidelines.

The 39-year-old is known for his active persona, and his team needs him.

The Rams are off to an encouraging 2-0 start.

Their Week 1 win against the Houston Texans was sloppy, as the defenses established the tempo.

Then, the Titans made life difficult in the first half of Week 2.

The Rams kept pushing, and after some halftime adjustments, they were able to pull away on the road.

Despite his relative youth, McVay has established himself as one of the most respected head coaches in the league.

The Rams are a perennial Super Bowl contender, even when they don’t have a stacked roster, and a lot of that has to do with McVay’s sharp mind, attention to detail, and ability to connect with his players.

He also has a great eye for surrounding himself with up-and-coming and talented assistant coaches.

Hopefully, he’ll have a speedy recovery from this injury.
