Robert Griffin III Says Fans Should Stop Calling Out John Harbaugh

The Baltimore Ravens are tied for the second-worst record in the NFL.

As such, it’s normal to see their fans frustrated, with some even calling for head coach John Harbaugh’s job.

With that in mind, former Ravens quarterback Robert Griffin III is urging them to stop.

He defended his former coach and claimed he would do whatever it takes to turn things around.

“The Baltimore Ravens should never fire John Harbaugh,” Griffin said.

Truth be told, it’s too early to talk about that, all things considered.

The Ravens should get back on track once quarterback Lamar Jackson is back to full strength after a hamstring injury.

Then again, they desperately need to fix their defense.

As much as Harbaugh is a winning head coach and has earned the benefit of the doubt, there have been multiple instances when he’s shown that he might not have it anymore.

No team has blown more double-digit leads in the second half than the Ravens under Harbaugh.

He’s living off a Super Bowl title from more than a decade ago, and he’s found little success in the playoffs since then.

Of course, that’s not to say that he should be fired or that he doesn’t deserve some patience.

But there are no lifetime positions in the NFL.

If the New England Patriots can fire Bill Belichick, no one should be safe.

Everybody needs to be held accountable, and that’s not going to change what Harbaugh has done for this team or his place in franchise history.
