The NFL Draft is rapidly approaching, giving teams limited time to come up with their final evaluations of players.
This year’s draft is an interesting situation for many teams who have top-10 picks as it is not a deep quarterback class, but there are a lot of organizations that have a pressing need for quarterbacks.
Free agency could be a popular way for teams to acquire QBs this year, especially if they aren’t sold on the top two or three prospects in the draft.
Shedeur Sanders is said to be one of the top options for teams, even though he’s a polarizing player in some respects.
Some analysts aren’t sold on his abilities as an NFL talent, and as Rob Parker mentioned on “FOX Sports Radio,” there are some off-field concerns as well.
“Shedeur Sanders has officially reached ‘unlikable’ status. There’s some jealousy there, and it shouldn’t factor in at all and just be about his ability,” Parker said.

Parker mentioned that Sanders has a few things to work through off the field, which might hinder his ability to do his job on the field.
At the end of the day, draft prospects are just that: prospects.
There’s no telling if a player’s college tape will translate to the pros, which is why there have been so many first-round busts throughout the years.
Sanders does come from an impressive athletic bloodline, as his father was an elite athlete, but it will be interesting to see how much teams will consider that when they’re thinking about drafting him.
