The Red Sox are placing right-hander Richard Fitts on the 15-day injured list, MassLive.com’s Chris Cotillo reports, and Michael Fulmer’s contract has been selected from Triple-A in the corresponding move.  The Sox have an open spot on the 40-man roster, so no further transaction is needed to bring Fulmer to the active roster.
