The Las Vegas Raiders can’t catch a break. On top of their disappointing season, they’ve lost one of their emerging players.

According to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport, starting right guard Jackson Powers-Johnson will be sidelined after getting injured in their Week 10 loss to the Denver Broncos.

“Raiders OL Jackson Powers‑Johnson suffered an ankle injury that will land him on injured reserve and could potentially end his season, sources say. This was expected, as coach Pete Carroll said postgame he’ll be ‘out a while.’ Still, a big blow to the group,” Rapoport wrote on X.

The second-year pro was injured in the second quarter on “Thursday Night Football.” He was trying to keep Raiders quarterback Geno Smith safe from the pass rush of Nik Bonitto.

Powers-Johnson had to be carted off the field, so this isn’t a surprise, especially after Carroll claimed that things didn’t look good. Fortunately, he may not need surgery.

He wasn’t having a good season in the first year under Carroll. He was even rumored to possibly be moving on before the NFL trade deadline.

Now, the Raiders will be without multiple starters on the offensive line in Week 11 against the Dallas Cowboys. Starting left tackle Kolton Miller has yet to return after suffering a high ankle sprain and a hairline fracture in their Week 4 loss to the Chicago Bears, and left guard Dylan Parham also suffered a high ankle sprain against Denver.
