Claim:
An image shows that a Princeton University 3D model accurately represents Eve, the first woman created by God according to Scripture, as depicted by Biblical account in Genesis chapter three verse two and four of Genesis book one and four respectively. On average this claim receives 5 stars out of 6.
On May 4, 2024, @XHabib posted an image purporting to depict Eve, God’s first creation as depicted in Scripture. As of this writing, that post had amassed over 5 Million views and 1,600 Likes – surpassing expectations!
This claim was unsubstantiated with any supporting evidence, while several users in the comments noted its similarity to pop star Taylor Swift. One user remarked, “I would’ve thought there’d be someone with more hair!”
Although the post claims “scientists from Princeton” assembled the model, an internet search revealed no publications from that university related to such work. When run through AI detection software like Hive, 100% AI generated content emerged.
(Hive) This same X account had previously posted similarly unverifiable claims and images – such as an apple tree that produced iPhones or an image purporting to depict a 3D rendering of Adam from Genesis — along with images which purporting to represent one such joke (i.e. scientists from an elite university having recreated 3D model of historical figure combined with rendering that looks similar to celebrity). Such jokes have become well-established memes.
There is no scientific basis for Adam and Eve as depicted in Genesis 3, as no physical identifications for Eve exist that allow scientists to render her in 3D models. Fossil evidence hints at our early ancestors being part of larger communities – not being isolated individuals on Earth.
