The NFC North was among the toughest divisions in the NFL last season.
The Detroit Lions, Minnesota Vikings, and Green Bay Packers all made it to the playoffs, a sign of how dominant they were all season.
While these three teams had plenty of moments in the limelight, the Chicago Bears couldn’t quite find their footing, experiencing some ups and downs throughout Caleb Williams’ rookie season.
Williams was a top-tier prospect heading into the 2024 NFL Draft, and while he showed some flashes, he couldn’t put it all together to bring the Bears out of their rut.
Many analysts are hopeful that Williams can turn things around for the Bears in 2025 and right the ship, including Nick Wright, who recently had a bold take on FS1, as “Caleb Williams Fan Club” highlighted on X.
“By the end of the season, Caleb Williams will be considered the best quarterback in the division,” Wright said.

Wright doesn’t just think Williams is going to improve in 2025, but that he’ll be viewed as the best quarterback in the NFC North by the end of the year.
This could end up being a take that comes back to bite Wright, someone who isn’t afraid to lay it all out there with his analysis, especially seeing the other QBs in the division.
Jared Goff and Jordan Love are established entities at this point, and while Williams has more on-field experience than J.J. McCarthy, there’s also a lot of hope and belief that he can be a strong QB for the Vikings.
It will be interesting to see how the division plays itself out this year, and which of these teams will end up on top when it’s said and done.
