In any case, none of this matters because the Senate will approve anyone Trump asks for.

Update: to that final point Republican Senator Mike Rounds said repeatedly he was “surprised” to learn Miran doesn’t intend to leave his White House position to take a short stub term at the Fed but also suggested it wouldn’t stop him from supporting the nomination.
