Media reports that Senator Thune ‘locked in’ an agreement for shutdown end vote to pass

US media outlet PBS reports that Senator Thune ‘locked in’ an agreement for shutdown end vote to pass.

Once it does so it’ll be handed over to the House of Representatives to vote on. This vote is not likely until Wednesday.

The Senate is expected to begin voting at 5.30pm local time. Thats 2230 GMT.

Its going to be a long process. Political pundits tell me there will be 8 votes. Where is the Department of Government Efficiency when you need them? Oh, that’s right, they were just a joke.
