Liverpool will look to enhance their top-four credentials when they host Newcastle this evening.

Arne Slot’s men suffered their first league defeat since November at Bournemouth last week but bounced back impressively on Wednesday night, beating Qarabag 6-0 in the Champions League.

Qarabag are Newcastle’s opponents in the play-off round after the Magpies slipped out of the top eight following a 1-1 draw at Paris Saint-Germain.

The Tynesiders lost to Aston Villa last weekend.
