The Detroit Lions know how to bounce back.
Head coach Dan Campbell can motivate his players, especially after things don’t go their way.
That was evident in their Week 2 thrashing of the Chicago Bears after a disheartening season-opening loss to the Green Bay Packers.

That speaks volumes about his team’s mental strength, resiliency and short memory.
Of course, it would be better to win in the first place, but it’s not always that simple.
Campbell has been instrumental in building a winning culture, and his players buy in and believe in one another.
They would run through a wall for their head coach because they know he would do the same for them.
Granted, Campbell has made his fair share of mistakes, and his aggressive in-game approach has cost the team at times.
But that’s also how he shows how much he believes in his players, and they respond more often than not.
The Lions looked like the best team in the NFC last season, and most analysts had them as the likeliest candidate to make it to the Super Bowl.
But they were upset by the Washington Commanders in their first playoff game, and they entered this season with a huge chip on their shoulders.
Even though they failed to show that against the Packers in Week 1, they looked like the juggernaut of old against the Bears.
