Lineups, team news, confirmed starting teams with Watkins on bench

Preston – the only non-Premier League club remaining in this season’s FA Cup – will attempt to cause the greatest shock of their run to the quarter-finals when the second-tier side host Aston Villa at Deepdale on Sunday (13:30 BST).

Paul Heckingbottom’s squad secured their place in the final eight by beating Championship promotion-chasers Burnley 3-0 at home in the previous round, while Unai Emery’s side progressed by eliminating second-tier Cardiff City at Villa Park.

Villa remain in contention for both domestic and European silverware, having also reached the Champions League quarter-finals.
