Kyle Dugger Reveals Honest Thoughts About Trade Speculation

The New England Patriots announced their 53-man roster.

Despite speculation, Kyle Dugger made the cut.

Of course, he wasn’t expected to be released, but he was tangled up in multiple trade rumors leading to Tuesday’s deadline.

However, when asked about that, he took the high road and talked about getting the job done:

Dugger, once considered a stalwart on the team, lost some ground after a disappointing season.

His struggles continued in training camp, with head coach Mike Vrabel demoting him to the second unit.

That opened up the door for plenty of speculation about his future with the organization.

Still, his big contract might make him a tough asset to move.

Making the 53-man roster doesn’t necessarily mean he’s going to finish the season there.

If anything, he can still be traded before the trade deadline.

That’s why he will have to make the most of his opportunities every single day, proving that he can be a valuable asset for this team and that he should be a starter.

If that’s not the case, then he might be better off requesting a trade somewhere else.

The Patriots haven’t been the same dominant team of old over the past four years or so.

They’re taking big steps in the right direction to make sure that they go back to their usual ways in the first year of the Mike Vrabel era.

That means that no one will be safe from being held accountable, not even those making the most money.
