The Green Bay Packers have been solid on offense this season.
Of course, that wasn’t the case in a Week 3 loss, but the Cleveland Browns’ defense is capable of shutting down anyone.
The Packers have also been dominant on defense, outside of their Week 4 performance against the Dallas Cowboys.
However, Green Bay’s special teams have been consistently bad, not only this season, but for years.
That’s why it’s refreshing to know that they can at least count on their kicker to usually take care of business.
Brandon McManus was recently recognized as a key factor in the tie against the Cowboys.

McManus is a veteran with a long track record of success, and the Packers have struggled to find consistency at the position since Crosby left.
Special teams are crucial to success in the NFL, and the Packers have fallen far short in that area.
Coordinator Rich Bisaccia is one of head coach Matt LaFleur’s most important assistants, but he hasn’t done a good job in charge of that unit.
The Packers’ special teams rank last or second-to-last in several categories, and they may not have the personnel or the right coach to improve.
McManus deserves and needs more help, and it’s unacceptable to have blocked kicks in consecutive weeks, especially considering they may have cost the team two wins.
