Julio Jones is commonly viewed as one of the greatest wide receivers in the NFL over the past decade.
He will likely end up in the Hall of Fame, as he currently is 16th on the all-time list for career receiving yards.
Jones has more yards than Andre Reed, Steve Largent, and Art Monk, to name a few all-timers, all of whom are in the Hall of Fame.
He was a key piece of the Atlanta Falcons for many years, a staple of their offense when they were among the NFC’s best teams.
Matt Ryan developed a strong connection with him over the years, a strong one-two punch that this team could rely on.
Jones seemingly felt like he was going to be a Falcon for life, as he mentioned recently on the “Bro Talk” podcast.
He talked about his favorite moment with the team, which was making it to the Super Bowl, but also highlighted his least favorite moment with the organization.
“My least favorite, no doubt about it, the trade, me leaving Atlanta,” Jones said.

Jones indicated that it was such a high to make it to the Super Bowl with this team, but also pointed out that getting traded was one of the more difficult points of his career.
He was traded to the Tennessee Titans, where he only played 10 games, and played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2022 and the Philadelphia Eagles in 2023.
Now that he’s retired, Jones has been more open about his time in the NFL, and isn’t shy in talking about the good and bad moments throughout his career.
