Josh Jacobs Gives Big Update About His Health

Running back Josh Jacobs built a reputation as one of the NFL’s most reliable players before injuries derailed his 2023 season.

Questions lingered about whether the Green Bay Packers star could bounce back to his previous level of production. Those concerns appear to be fading as the 2025 season approaches.

The former Raiders standout recently provided an update that should excite Packers fans heading into the new campaign.

“This is the best my body’s ever felt. It’s weird, like, I’m coming into this year with no injuries, not hamstrings, nothing, just coming in, playing ball…. Man! I’m ready to get to it really,” Jacobs said on Up & Adams with Kay Adams.

Jacobs mentioned he feels healthier than at any point in his career. He has nearly returned to his college playing weight, which should provide added quickness and agility.

The timing couldn’t be better for a Green Bay offense that lost key contributors and struggled with consistency in the ground game.

His production remained solid in 2024 despite battling through physical issues. Jacobs rushed for 1,329 yards and 15 touchdowns while dealing with various ailments throughout the season.

Those numbers proved his value even when operating at less than full strength.

The Packers addressed offensive line concerns during the offseason, moves that Jacobs has praised as transformative for the unit.

With quarterback Jordan Love still developing, establishing a strong running game becomes even more critical for offensive balance.

Green Bay enters 2025 with playoff expectations in a competitive NFC North division.

Jacobs figures to be central to those hopes as the featured back in what should be a more complete offensive attack.
