For years, Green Bay Packers fans questioned the team’s decision to select quarterback Jordan Love.
He wasn’t a highly touted prospect entering the 2020 NFL Draft, and they already had one of the best quarterbacks of all time in Aaron Rodgers.
Love waited patiently for his opportunity, and he ultimately became next on the Packers’ long list of star QBs.
Fast forward to today, and he’s done something that not even Rodgers could do.
“Jordan Love had 20 consecutive completions at one point tonight. This hadn’t been done by a Packers QB since Brett Favre,” via NFL on FOX.

Love had one of the best games of his career in the Week 8 victory against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
He completed 29 of 37 passes for 360 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions.
Not many people can brag about outplaying Rodgers, especially considering that the veteran had a strong performance, at least in the first half.
In seven games this season, Love has completed 70.9 percent of his passes for 1,798 yards, 13 touchdowns and two interceptions.
Judging by those numbers and Green Bay’s record, Love is making a case as an NFL MVP contender.
Unfortunately, some people are still on the fence about him.
He has a tendency to put the ball in harm’s way, and he’s fallen short against some tough opponents in big moments, so it’s been hard to turn the narrative around.
Then again, that’s also part of what comes with being Rodgers’ replacement, and he will always be held to a different type of standard.
