Whether they make the playoffs or not, the Dallas Cowboys are a commonly discussed team in sports media.
The Cowboys have been dubbed “America’s Team” for quite some time, which puts a lot of pressure on them, as they are always in the public eye.
Not winning a Super Bowl in over 30 years has been a point of contention for fans, as expectations are sky-high for this team heading into each season.
That remains the case for the Cowboys when looking ahead to the 2025 campaign, especially since the team recently extended Dak Prescott to a multi-year contract.
Prescott has been under a lot of pressure throughout his career as well, but has seemingly managed these high expectations with a level head.
He routinely receives praise for his leadership and presence in the locker room, which was put on full display in comments from his new teammate and colleague in the QB room, Joe Milton.
As Dov Kleiman pointed out on X, Milton said, “Dak is a great leader… He literally goes out of his way to help me,” adding, “It’s just very different over here.”
Class Act: Cowboys QB2 Joe Milton has been surprised by how much Dak Prescott has helped him:
“Dak is a great leader… All respect to him. He literally goes out of his way to help me. I’ve been in another building. I know how that goes. It’s just very different over here.”

Milton is seemingly referring to the differences between the team that drafted him, the New England Patriots, and the Cowboys.
Being behind Prescott in the depth chart allows Milton an opportunity to watch how a veteran does it, learning from him in several aspects of his game.
Milton was a relatively unknown prospect coming into the NFL, but the one thing that most fans and scouts know about him is his rocket arm.
If he can learn how to harness that skill and become a well-rounded player, the sky is the limit for him in this league.
