Jaxson Dart Names 3 ‘Legit’ Giants Rookies Amid Training Camp

The New York Giants need to bounce back this season.

Fortunately, they got an influx of young talent this offseason.

On top of selecting the best pass rusher in the class, Abdul Carter, they also added intriguing players further down in the 2025 NFL Draft.

With that in mind, Kay Adams asked quarterback Jaxson Dart to share his thoughts on some of his fellow rookies.

The first-round pick gushed about Carter, Cam Skattebo and Dalen Cambre.

“I mean, I knew Abdul was legit before. I’ve played against him in college. Been fun playing with [Cam]. He’s my locker buddy. He has a ton of energy every single day. A guy that’s come out here and played really well is Dalen Cambre, UDFA guy who does his job to an elite level and is somebody that we can always rely on,” Dart said.

Carter was in the mix to be the No. 1 overall pick for a big part of the pre-draft process.

His ability to line up at multiple positions and still get to the quarterback is impressive, and he has the physical tools to be a disruptive force at the line of scrimmage.

Skattebo went somewhat overlooked for his measurements, but the running back is one of the toughest competitors from his class.

He runs with hunger and anger, and he’s a tackle-breaking machine who won’t back down from a challenge.

Cambre, on the other hand, has to make the roster after signing as an undrafted free agent.

Like all undrafted players, the wide receiver knows he has to work twice as hard for his touches, but his ability to contribute on special teams should be helpful.

Dart is also an intriguing prospect, but with Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston ahead of him, it might be a while before he gets to take the field.
