Jack Wilshere, the former Arsenal midfielder, has been handed the Norwich City job for the final two games of the Championship season.
Wilshere, 33, has stepped up after the Canaries sacked head coach Johannes Hoff Thorup.
Norwich have slipped to 14th in the Championship after winning only twice in 14 matches, with their 3-1 Easter Monday defeat at Millwall being their fourth loss in five games.
Danish coach Hoff Thorup was appointed on a three-year deal last May and leaves Norwich alongside his assistant Glen Riddersholm.

Sporting director Ben Knapper told the club website: “Whilst we made this appointment with a long-term focus and in line with our wider club strategy and direction, unfortunately recent results and performances have deemed it necessary for us to make a change.”
Wilshere won two FA Cups with Arsenal and has 34 caps for England, but had an injury-plagued career and left the Gunners in 2018. He became a coach at Carrow Road last year.
His former Arsenal team-mate Aaron Ramsey is also taking his first steps in management after taking charge at Cardiff City.
The two will meet on the final day of the season with Ramsey hoping to steer Cardiff to safety.
