Insider Reveals 3 ‘Most Likely’ Prospects For Jets In First-Round Of Draft

Whispers and speculation are swirling around the New York Jets’ plans for their coveted seventh overall pick as the NFL draft approaches.

While some analysts still link the Jets to promising signal-callers like Shedeur Sanders or Jaxson Dart, a clearer pattern is emerging that suggests the team might be looking elsewhere.

The buzz around the New York Jets’ draft strategy gained clarity when ESPN Insider Rich Cimini shared insights from his league sources about their likely targets.

These conversations have narrowed the field to three primary candidates who could be wearing green and white next season.

“ESPN’s Rich Cimini revealed the top 3 most likely candidates for the #Jets at pick No. 7 overall 11 days ahead of the 2025 #NFLDraft, based on ‘conversations with league sources’: 🏈 LSU OL Will Campbell, 🏈 Missouri OL Armand Membou, 🏈 Penn State TE Tyler Warren,” reported Paul Andrew Esden Jr.

Two of these prospects address what many consider the Jets’ most pressing need – offensive line help.

LSU’s Will Campbell stands out as one of the premier tackles in this draft class, combining remarkable footwork with raw power that could immediately fill the right tackle position vacated when Morgan Moses departed.

His selection would give the Jets a cornerstone to build around for years to come.

Missouri’s Armand Membou represents another intriguing option on the offensive line. His stock has been rising steadily throughout the pre-draft process, with scouts raving about his quick feet and technical prowess in pass protection.

Adding Membou would provide much-needed stability to a unit that has struggled with consistency.

The third candidate, Penn State’s Tyler Warren, offers something different altogether. As this year’s consensus top tight end, Warren brings a rare combination of blocking ability and pass-catching talent.

His versatility could transform the Jets’ offense by creating mismatches and providing another weapon in the arsenal.

The direction the New York Jets ultimately choose will reveal much about their vision for the franchise’s immediate future.

Whether they prioritize protecting their quarterback or giving him another dynamic target, their selection promises to be one of the draft’s most consequential decisions.
