The 2025 NFL Draft is almost here, and, as has been the case for many years, quarterbacks have dominated conversations leading up to this event.

Even though it’s viewed as a weaker class than the past few years, with QB being such a valuable position in this league, it will always have its moment in the sun.

While this has been the case, a lot of people have also been talking about the running back class, which has several prospects that could make a big splash when they get to the league.

One of the most exciting RB prospects in some time, Ashton Jeanty, has been the talk of the town, a player that many believe is going to be a top 10 pick.

He’s been rumored to be a target for many teams, including the Jacksonville Jaguars, Las Vegas Raiders, Denver Broncos, and Dallas Cowboys, to name a few.

While all of these teams might be interested, analyst Albert Breer believes other teams could be more interested, and could be willing to trade up in the draft to acquire him.

“I think if there’s a trade up in the top 10, it’s going to be lower than (No.) 2-3, and I think if there’s a trade up target, I think it’s probably going to be Ashton Jeanty,” Breer said.

“I think if there’s a trade up in the top 10, it’s going to be lower than (No.) 2-3 and I think if there’s a trade up target, I think it’s probably going to be Ashton Jeanty.”

After the position was devalued for a few years, teams are seemingly back in on running back, as teams have started to target them earlier in the draft.

If Jeanty is the player that many scouts believe he is, and that his game will translate well to the NFL, he could have a Saquon Barkley-like upside that teams could chase after seeing what Barkley accomplished with the Philadelphia Eagles last year.
