German stocks lead the way at the open in mixed showing for European equities

  • Eurostoxx -0.2%
  • Germany DAX +0.5%
  • France CAC 40 -0.4%
  • UK FTSE +0.1%
  • Spain IBEX +0.2%
  • Italy FTSE MIB -0.1%

It’s a mixed bag out there with the broader market mood also impacted by the heavy selling in Wall Street on Friday. German shares are higher, owing to the election results but it is not enough to lift regional equities alongside it for now. S&P 500 futures have also trimmed gains, now seen up just 0.3% on the day. Nvidia earnings later in the week is the key factor to watch for risk sentiment.
