The Philadelphia Eagles are the defending Super Bowl champions.
They weren’t necessarily the favorites from the NFC heading into the season, but they quickly changed the narrative surrounding them with dominant performances on both sides of the ball.
Adding Saquon Barkley proved to be vital to their success on offense, and their strategy of drafting the right players also helped improve their defense.
After seeing what they accomplished in 2024, many analysts believe the Eagles are in for another dominant season in 2025, believing they can compete at the highest level in the NFC.
While former quarterback Chase Daniel might agree with this analysis, he recently appeared on FS1’s “The Facility,” where he called the Los Angeles Rams “the biggest threat to the Eagles.”
The Rams are the biggest threat to the Eagles.
If they can play up to their potential, no one is going to want to see this team.

Daniel believes that the Rams are the team that could de-throne the Eagles and be the NFC’s representative in the Super Bowl.
The Rams also have experience winning the Super Bowl in the past five years, as Matthew Stafford’s tenure in the league proved valuable in helping them take the next step as an organization.
Despite losing Cooper Kupp, the Rams did gain Davante Adams, who Daniel believes helps the Rams have the best core in the NFL with him, Kyren Williams, Puka Nacua, and Stafford.
If Stafford and Adams develop a strong relationship from the get-go, this could be a team that nobody wants to face down the stretch, especially in the playoffs.
Sean McVay always seems to have some tricks up his sleeve, and with the right team to coach, his ceiling is seemingly limitless.
