Fed’s Waller does not comment on monetary policy or the economy. He is speaking on payments in Wyoming.
Later today, the Fed open market committee will issue the minutes of the July 29 – 30th Fed meeting. At that meeting, the Fed was divided with Fed’s Waller and Bowman both voting to cut rates by 25 basis points.
After the minutes, Fed Bostic is expected to speak at 3 PM where he is expected to discuss the economic outlook in a moderated format.
On Friday, the Fed chair Powell will speak in Jackson Hole.
