Liam Rosenior will take charge of Chelsea for the first time as the Blues visit Championship club Charlton in the FA Cup third round on Saturday.

The former Strasbourg boss watched on from the stands as Chelsea lost 2-1 at Fulham on Wednesday, leaving them eighth in the Premier League table.

Charlton made a strong return in the second tier after coming through the League One play-offs last season, but have hit the buffers in recent weeks with one win in their last 11 games.

The Addicks sit 19th in the table, five points above the relegation zone.
