Eurozone May retail sales -0.7% vs -0.7% m/m expected

Looking at the breakdown, there were declines across the board for food, drinks and tobacco sales (-0.7%), non-food product sales (-0.6%), and automotive fuel sales (-1.3%). Relative to May last year, euro area retail sales is still seen up 1.8% year-on-year though.
