European indices hold slightly lower as the session gets underway

  • Eurostoxx -0.3%
  • Germany DAX -0.3%
  • France CAC 40 -0.4%
  • UK FTSE -0.3%
  • Spain IBEX -0.3%
  • Italy FTSE MIB -0.6%

The softer showing comes after the retreat in Wall Street yesterday, though it was one led by tech shares mostly. US futures are more muted today, with S&P 500 futures currently flat. Amid a lack of fresh catalysts, stocks look to be having mixed feelings so far on the week. And there won’t be much to change up that mood in the day ahead. Investors will be looking to US data tomorrow and on Friday instead for something to work with next.
