The Philadelphia Eagles are keeping one of their beloved veterans.
They reportedly reworked Dallas Goedert‘s contract to put an end to all speculation about his future.
According to a report by Mike Garafolo, the team fielded trade offers for him during the NFL Draft.

Per reports, the deal will now pay Goedert $10 million, but he can earn another million with incentives.
That’s a three-million pay cut from the $14 million he was initially slated to make.
He was also about to have a cap hit of roughly $11.8 million, which would’ve been the 10th-highest among tight ends.
Goedert has been in the league for seven years, all with the Eagles, and he’s been a crucial contributor to their postseason success.
The Eagles took him in the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft, and he’s logged 349 receptions for 4,085 yards and 24 touchdowns in 93 regular-season appearances.
He’s taken those numbers up a notch in the playoffs.
In 12 playoff games, he’s hauled in 52 receptions for 562 yards and four touchdowns, and that’s the eighth-most catches by any tight end in NFL playoff history.
He’s coming off grabbing 17 passes for 215 yards and one touchdown en route to a Super Bowl win, and that’s the second-most in a single playoff run by any Eagles player in franchise history.
While not often considered an elite tight end like George Kittle or Travis Kelce, Goedert has established himself as one of Jalen Hurts’ favorite targets, a respected player in the locker room, and a fan favorite, and he will now be closer to finishing his career where it all started.
