The Cincinnati Bengals, just like Joe Burrow said, stole one on the road.
They’ve struggled mightily in the first two weeks under Zac Taylor’s command, so getting a win in the season opener was crucial to their aspirations.
However, they barely escaped with this triumph, and they were a field goal away from falling to 0-1 again.
Nevertheless, Dan Orlovsky believes they should feel quite good about themselves right now.
Talking on ESPN’s “Get Up,” the former quarterback claimed to feel “ecstatic” and much better about the Bengals right now.

That might be a little too much to say of a team that was held to seven yards in the second half of a game.
That’s also a lot to say if you consider that the Browns shut down both Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins.
Even so, the Bengals have usually gotten off to slow starts, so surviving this game despite those woes might be a positive sign, knowing that they will peak in the second half of the season.
Also, divisional games are always tough to win, and everybody feels competitive in the first game of the season.
The Browns have an elite defense, and they showed up to play in Week 1.
Good teams get the job done, even when it’s not easy or pretty, and even when they need a couple of lucky bounces to go their way.
Their defense still has a long way to go, but their offense should be much better as the season goes by.
