The Dallas Cowboys got some bad news late on Saturday.
As reported by Todd Archer, Jonathan Mingo could be out for a while.
The team reportedly feels the young wide receiver has suffered an injury to the posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) in his right knee.
Cowboys fear wide receiver Jonathan Mingo suffered an injury to the posterior cruciate ligament in his right knee, according to multiple sources. Set for an MRI Sunday to determine severity but he could need time to recover.

The injury took place during their 31-13 preseason loss to the Baltimore Ravens.
Mingo jumped to catch a pass near the endzone and landed awkwardly.
He limped his way into the medical tent and was immediately ruled out for the remainder of the game.
While the Cowboys fear he may have suffered a PCL injury, they will still wait until he undergoes an MRI on Sunday.
The Cowboys got Mingo and a 2025 seventh-round pick from the Carolina Panthers for a 2025 fourth-round pick last season.
He finished the year with just five receptions for 46 yards in eight games, all with Cooper Rush behind center.
He was one of the potential breakout candidates during training camp, and he could’ve legitimately had a role as the Cowboys’ WR3 behind CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens.
Of course, there’s still a chance that he will be out there for the start of the season, given the extent of the injury.
Unlike what happens with ACL injuries, some PCL tears don’t require surgery.
But with him out, perhaps the team will have to make some tough decisions for their 53-man roster.
They should still be more than set for the season, though, as they already have the aforementioned Lamb and Pickens as well as KaVontae Turpin, Jalen Tolbert, Jalen Brooks, and Ryan Flournoy there.
