Real Madrid can regain the Liga leadership with a win over Real Sociedad tonight.

Alvaro Arbeloa’s men have regularly claimed top spot only for Barcelona to take it back and that could be the situation again this weekend with the Catalans going to Girona on Monday night.

Madrid won 2-1 in San Sebastian in September and a repeat would see them go two points clear.

Sociedad are in great form having not lost in any competition since December 12, a run that includes a 2-1 defeat of Barca last month.
