The Kansas City Chiefs need to get back to their dominant ways on offense.
Getting Patrick Mahomes some blindside protection should be near the top of their priority list, and they could look to add more firepower to their passing game at some point in the NFL Draft as well.
With that in mind, they met with a speedy wideout who could be available in the bottom rounds.
According to Aaron Wilson, they had a Zoom call with Miami WR Sam Brown Jr., with whom they had already met with privately.
The Atlanta Falcons, Miami Dolphins, Philadelphia Eagles, and Chicago Bears are also keeping tabs on him.

The fact that they’ve already reached out to him twice makes it seem as if they’re legitimately interested in his services, and it’s easy to see why.
Standing at 6-foot-2, he logged a 4.4-second 40-yard dash and recorded a 41.5 vertical leap.
His production wasn’t eye-popping, as he had just 36 receptions for 509 yards and two touchdowns, but a lot of that might have to do with the Hurricanes’ flurry of pass-catchers.
He seems to be a good fit for the Chiefs’ short passes, as he’s very good after the catch because of his quick burst and acceleration.
He’s not a willing blocker or someone who’s going to make a lot of contested catches, and he often tends to gamble because of his trust in his speed.
Rashee Rice and Xavier Worthy will most likely handle the bulk of the load in the passing game, and Brown might be a solid backup or depth piece if he’s available in the seventh round.
