The Los Angeles Chargers keep making moves ahead of the season opener.
While getting ready to face the Kansas City Chiefs in Brazil, they’ve added two players to their practice squad and moved another.
“Chargers sign Luke Grimm, Amar Johnson to practice squad, place Jalen Reagor on practice squad injured list,” Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston wrote on X.

Reagor, like Grimm, a wide receiver, failed to make the 53-man roster, but the Chargers brought him back shortly after.
He will be ineligible for the first four weeks of the season.
Grimm looked like a candidate to make the final roster, so it was a bit of a surprise when the Chargers chose to keep Derius Davis over him.
Now, with JaQuae Jackson as the only other wide receiver on the practice squad, and Reagor dealing with an injury, Grimm should be the first in line if the team needs help at the position.
The Chargers welcomed back Keenan Allen this offseason after a year with the Chicago Bears, and Ladd McConkey should be Justin Herbert’s preferred target again.
There are some questions about the depth and talent after that, so even though it won’t be easy, Grimm has a path to get on the field this season.
