CeeDee Lamb Reveals His Goals Ahead Of Season

The Dallas Cowboys are banking on CeeDee Lamb to carry their offensive hopes in 2025.

After an inconsistent 2024 campaign, the team has placed Lamb at the center of their plans for a bounce-back season.

His proven ability to deliver in clutch moments makes him the obvious focal point as Dallas prepares for what could be a defining year.

Lamb recently spoke about his goals heading into the new season with former Cowboys player Isaiah Stanback.

“Honestly, starting fast, whatever that looks like, whether it’s blocking fast, running my routes crisp, immediately not looking like it’s the first game of the season. I feel like with that will come a lot of success. […] I know if I go out there and be the best version of myself, I’ll be a hard guy to stop. So just, being myself, doing what I got to do for my brothers and just putting all on the line for them,” Lamb said.

The wide receiver has been cleared after dealing with minor injury concerns during the offseason.

His health gives Dak Prescott a reliable target who can stretch defenses and create mismatches across the field.

Lamb brings a complete skill set that includes crisp route running and dependable hands in traffic.

Dallas has also elevated Lamb to team captain this season. The new role puts additional leadership responsibilities on his shoulders as he works to mentor younger receivers and build chemistry throughout the offense.

The Cowboys will lean heavily on Lamb’s abilities when they face the Philadelphia Eagles in their season opener.

With Micah Parsons no longer in the lineup, offensive production becomes even more critical for Dallas.

Lamb spent the offseason focused on improving his catch rate and overall efficiency.

He would at least look to surpass 100 receptions and 1,400 yards this season, with support from George Pickens and a fully healthy Prescott.
