Cardano Expands Education Push With A New Binance Academy Course

The Cardano Foundation has launched a new educational program, “Cardano Fundamentals,” through its Cardano Academy initiative.

The course is now live, and accessible to over 44 million global users on Binance Academy.

The three-hour program aims to help students, professionals, and developers gain a structured introduction to Cardano’s role in digital infrastructure.

Learners are guided through live-presentation modules that cover the project’s origins, its Ouroboros consensus protocol, and its design philosophy.

Advanced sections explore scaling solutions, monetary policy, governance, and Cardano’s growing NFT and DeFi ecosystems.

Real-world use cases form a core part of the curriculum. Participants examine how Cardano is being deployed in gaming, tokenization, supply chains, and financial services.

This applied focus is intended to demonstrate blockchain’s role beyond theory, highlighting business benefits and practical adoption scenarios.

Frederik Gregaard, CEO of the Cardano Foundation, described the program as an “entry point to understand how Cardano is helping shape the infrastructure of the future.”

“Through the Cardano Academy, this initiative with Binance Academy aims to broaden access to research-informed learning on a global scale, helping to address a persistent barrier to innovation: the shortage of qualified talent, he added.

Stephen McAllister, who leads Binance Academy, mentioned that education is critical for the growth of blockchain ecosystems, where learning about diverse blockchain networks and their real-world applications with accessible and research-driven courses is essential to further development and participation.

The Cardano Academy team brings over two decades of combined experience across enterprise, education, and technology. It ensures learners gain a practical understanding of how Cardano is being used to build today’s decentralized applications.
