The Arizona Cardinals finished the 2024 NFL season with an 8-9 record, a disappointing year considering their expectations.
Many believed quarterback Kyler Murray would get back on track and lead the team to the playoffs, but he ultimately fell short.
Murray has been under a lot of scrutiny over the past few years, especially after he got a massive contract extension, and the Cardinals haven’t been the playoff staple that fans expected.
Heading into the 2025 season, teammate Budda Baker believes Murray is in for a big year.
“He’s kind of been in his bag this whole offseason, doing no-look throws and having a great offseason training camp,” Baker said, via Dov Kleiman.
Scary: Cardinals superstar QB Kyler Murray has “been in his bag” this offseason, according to Budda Baker.

In Baker’s eyes, Murray is more than ready to prove his doubters wrong.
The Cardinals certainly have their work cut out for them with an NFC West that includes the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams, but if everything comes together, there’s no telling what they’ll be able to accomplish.
Murray has performed like an elite quarterback when healthy and with the right teammates around him, which is an exciting prospect heading into the season.
With a projection of 8.5 wins, according to most sportsbooks, the Cardinals might be a long shot to be contenders in the eyes of the public, but believing in themselves and their quarterback can go a long way.
