The Tampa Bay Buccaneers need some help at cornerback.
They’ve been stung by injuries and had to do something about it.
According to NFL insider Aaron Wilson, they did so by signing defensive back JayVian Farr, along with running back Jase McClellan, and waiving kicker Ryan Coe and injured quarterback Michael Pratt.

The Bucs went without Benjamin Morrison, Bryce Hall and Roman Parodie in practice, but there’s no word about the extent of their ailments.
The fact that they brought back Farr might not be encouraging regarding those three players.
The Bucs had him as a rookie minicamp invitee, and though he didn’t make the roster then, the team liked what they saw from him.
At 5-foot-9 and 192 pounds, Farr stood out at his Pro Day with a 36-inch vertical jump and a 4.44-second 40-yard dash time.
Of course, his chances of making the 53-man roster aren’t necessarily encouraging, but he’s a strong candidate to stay around on the practice squad, given that the Bucs seem to have him on their radar.
As for McLellan, he was a sixth-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft by the Atlanta Falcons.
The running back made two appearances and logged 13 carries for 32 yards.
Then, they waived him before the start of training camp.
He logged 1,981 yards and 18 touchdowns on 355 carries at Alabama, adding 40 receptions for 309 yards and six TDs.
