Longtime Philadelphia Eagles pass rusher Brandon Graham was open about his possible retirement before last season, and after winning the Super Bowl for a second time, he decided to leave the game.
That didn’t last very long, as he has signed to come back to the Eagles.
Philadelphia looks like a Super Bowl contender again, which was enough to coax Graham back for a 16th season.
The 37-year-old recently opened up about that decision.
“If I still feel like I could play, why not? I feel like we got a good team too. I do feel like we’ve got an opportunity of a lifetime with all these people on the team. I just feel like I still got a duty to come in and help since I feel like I got a lot of juice left,” Graham said.

Following his first practice, Graham joked about how good he was getting at golf, but that will be on hold for now.
His return has been teased for weeks, but it became a need when Za’Darius Smith abruptly retired, leaving a void that was easy for Graham to fill.
He also suggested he wouldn’t have come back if the Eagles weren’t contenders, but they seemingly have what it takes to repeat as champions and send Graham back into retirement with a third ring to his name.
